2nd MENTON BACKGAMMON OPEN - cod. OKEU 17

Dear Backgammon fan,

it is a pleasure for us to invite you to the upcoming 2nd MENTON BACKGAMMON OPEN, scheduled at the Casino Barrière de Menton (Av. Félix Faure – Menton – France - www.lucienbarriere.com) from 6th till 10th July, 2010 (main event 8th, 9th and 10th July, 2011). It's the traditional tournament before Monte-Carlo!
    In addition we scheduled 4 Backgammon days from Monday 11th till Thursday 14th July, 2011 waiting for the Monte-Carlo event. In Menton every day jackpots and super-jackpot.

       These are the main points of the schedule:

    * it is the  traditional tournament scheduled before the Monte-Carlo event;

    * no clocks  will be used during the tournament, except in case of big delay on the  tournament matches;

    * the draw is  manual (not computerized), public and random;

    * 100% of all  entry will be returned to the players;

    * the  tournament will be played on professional Rizzello & Romagnoli Tournament  Boards;

    * last year's paid money-prize 19.960 euro;

    * we'll start on Wednesday 6th July, 2011 with the first part of the Warm-up (free-of charge - for registered players only), the first part of the R&R Trophy (free-of-charge - for WBF supporters only), the Quarter Entries, the One Point Matches, the Jackpots and the first Cocktail;

    * on Thursday 7th July, 2011 we will have the second part of the Warm-up (free-of charge - for registered players only), the second part of the R&R Trophy (free-of-charge - for WBF supporters only) and the 2nd MENTON DOUBLES CONSULTING TOURNAMENT, starting at 21:00;

    * on Friday 8th July, 2011 we will have the Welcome Cocktail and will start the Main Tournament;

    * on Saturday 9th July, 2011 are scheduled Main and Progressive Consolation Tournaments, the Ladies Tournament and the Super-Jackpot;

    * on Sunday 10th July, 2011 we will have the Finals, the Last Chance Tournament and the Casino Menton Cocktail Party with the Awarding Ceremony.


    AFTER THE TOURNAMENT 4 DAYS OF BACKGAMMON & FUN IN MENTON! EVERY DAY JACKPOTS AND SUPER-JACKPOT SCHEDULED FROM 18:00 hrs. IN CASE OF RAIN WE WILL OPEN THE BACKGAMMON ROOM AT 16:00.

    * Monday 11th July, 2011 – Backgammon action at 18:00 (in case of rain at 16:00)
    * Tuesday 12th July, 2011 – Backgammon action at 18:00 (in case of rain at 16:00)
